About the Role 

As one of the early-stage team members at Elate, the Business Development Representative will play a critical role in building and executing on the GTM strategy for the sales and marketing teams. In this role you will be responsible for identifying and creating new opportunities within target accounts through prospecting and engagement efforts. You will have the opportunity to help create outbound campaigns for key accounts, and work closely with marketing to coordinate account-based marketing efforts. As a Business Development Representative, you will be asked to work with key stakeholders and coordinate multiple teams in campaign efforts, including sales, marketing, and C-level team members. 


What To Expect 

Month One 

Welcome to life at a start-up! We’ve got big goals and an even bigger vision for how Elate can power sustainable growth for today’s business leaders. As operations and growth stage experts, our team members provide value for every prospect through our industry-knowledge. The first month will consist of your crash-course into understanding our market, the challenges faced by our customers, and how we are building the industry-leading Operations Platform. You’ll be spending time learning about the genesis of Elate and our vision for the future. You will also begin your outbound campaign efforts on your journey to building Elate’s customer base.


By Month Three 

With a strong foundational understanding of our customers and market, you are confidently reaching out to prospective customers. You are able to identify key stakeholders within target accounts and bring a value-add level of engagement into conversations with prospects. The meetings you set are qualified, and you are exceeding your weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics. You’ll consistently be contributing toward our company culture. 

By Month Six 

In true start-up fashion, as you continue to excel, you will be presented with the opportunity to take on a more significant role in leading campaign strategy across multiple departments. This will lead to adding further responsibilities that continue your professional development and career growth. 


By Month Twelve 

One of the core values of Elate is our entrepreneurial mindset, and with that comes the freedom and responsibility to provide valuable insights across the business. Building business plans, expanding into new opportunities, or identifying critical gaps in our GTM strategy are all on the table.
